Our Research Enterprise Solutions team works with hospitals, universities, cancer centers and research institutions and helps these organizations improve every aspect of research administration performance through transformative change. As part of the Research Services team, you will work with leading physician/scientists, administrators, and other professionals connected to the healthcare, university and life sciences industries on a variety of projects in strategic planning, finance, operations, technology and compliance.

Are you ready to make impact with your leadership experience and contracting expertise? As a senior member of Huron’s Research Office team, you will negotiate and prepare clinical research study contracts that include Confidentiality Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Clinical Trial Agreements, Nonconforming Subcontracts, Master Service Agreements, Material Transfer Agreements, and Data Transfer Agreements.
You will use your time management skills to work on multiple study contract documents concurrently and apply your exceptional writing skills and work ethic to draft client-ready documents. You will review sponsor contract language and embed client specific contract terms and verbiage as approved by client’s legal department. Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university
A minimum of 3 years of experience in research administration, and/or legal-rated experience, with contracts
Must work within our Chicago, IL office
CTA experience preferred
Experience in writing contracts
Experience in Research or Healthcare compliance
Knowledge of federal regulations related to clinical research, including NIH regulations covering NIH funded inventions
Experience working in an administrative / business office of a university, hospital, or research institute
