Position Summary:

The Marketing Data and Analytics Manager is a key member of the marketing organization and will partner closely with the marketing leadership team to translate objectives and key results / goals into key performance indicators and enhance our understanding of sales and marketing success. More specifically, this position will work in lock step with our account-based marketing, digital and thought leadership efforts.

Additionally, this managerial role leads a growing analyst team to measure marketing efforts, govern and enrich data quality and utilize a best in class technology ecosystem. This role is responsible for scaling and optimizing domestic data and measurement operations with our international colleagues as well as enhancing marketing's understanding of storytelling though data.

Position Responsibilities:

Lead efforts to develop and implement frameworks for measuring, reporting and analyzing marketing results

Drive the development of dashboards and standardized reports to provide ongoing insight to marketing and business stakeholders

Review and provide analysis of programmatic account-based campaigns and unique account-specific tactics for targeted accounts list

Develop guidelines, processes and procedures for consistent delivery of marketing measurement and reporting then work to drive utilization and adoption of reporting by these key stakeholders

Create advanced and predictive models such as marketing mix, propensity to buy, next best offer and customer lifetime value, then assist marketing teams in using these models to adjust their tactical mixes

Analyze internal, market and client level data on sales to deliver insights and support decision making for key stakeholders such as marketing, sales, strategic accounts and corporate functions

Lead efforts to segment and analyze prospect and customer groups to proactively identify opportunities to drive pipeline, revenue growth

Advise marketing functions on data requirements necessary to perform desired analyses; participate in the development of process modifications needed to deliver required data

Manage external vendors and suppliers of marketing analytics and data enrichment platforms

Maintain accurate and actionable understanding of CRM data quality for targeted accounts list

Ensure that each marketing activity is tracked and measured

Use data and dashboards to inform future tactics and programmatic campaign adjustments

Ability to collaborate in a team environment and with a variety of stakeholders at all levels

Ability to identify and handle issues proactively and decisively with limited direction and oversight while also communicating consistently to executive leadership

Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills including effective visual representation of complex data


Bachelors degree

6+ years of business related experience

Outstanding analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to present analytics to a wide range of constituents in a relatable and understandable manner.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, which often requires the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills. Pro-active, anticipating needs and staying out ahead of them.

Uses insights, logic, and common sense to further stakeholders' knowledge, insight, and action through quantitative results

Extremely resourceful and tenacious gathering information from across the organization

Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills for presentations to business stakeholders.

Working knowledge of insurance business and industry dynamics preferred.
